The LIDA-SRS-KIT Lock-In Digital Amplifier system provides an effective and user-friendly method for measuring optical signals. The system includes Oriel’s TracQ™ Basic software that acquires spectroscopic measurement data quickly and easily, without requiring any programming knowledge. The chopper included with the system is used to modulate a continuous wave source for detectors – a requirement when using a lock-in digital amplifier.

Newport Corporation, a global leader in high precision motion and photonics solutions, introduces its popular, compact NSA12 actuator with a new controller, the CONEX-PP. The CONEX-NSA12 is a miniature motorized linear actuator with Newport’s iPP™ stepper motor controller technology.
The actuator features a reliable open loop stepper motor that provides 11 mm travel and can be used for loads up to 28 N. It is a highly economical solution for motorizing mirror mounts, rotation stages, linear stages and other manual positioning devices. The compactness of the CONEX-NSA12 makes it ideal for space limited applications.
A vacuum compatible version is also available.
The actuator includes fixed minimum and programmable maximum travel limit switches to prevent equipment damage from over-travel.
The NSA12 also features a non-rotating tip that prevents wear and avoids the periodic motion variations which can occur in other actuators with rotating tips.
Furthermore, the actuator incorporates a mechanism that virtually eliminates backlash, which is crucial in applications like active beam alignment or optical tracking.
